Family-centered maternity care
We believe in family-centered maternity care. That's why we welcome the partners of our expectant mothers into their private birthing suites. When babies are born, they are welcome to room-in with their parents. We support new families and allow them to bond in the comfort and privacy of their rooms while in the care of our attentive nursing staff.
Our staff's primary responsibility is to care for your baby and provide you with basic knowledge to help you care for your newborn. That's why the baby's first assessment is in the delivery room.
3D and 4D ultrasounds
We offer expectant mothers, who are between 24 and 32 weeks of pregnancy, 3D and 4D ultrasounds. Ultrasound imaging technology uses sound waves to create images of internal structures of the body. 3D and 4D ultrasounds allow parents to see their babies in great detail before they are born. 3D ultrasounds create high-quality images, and 4D ultrasounds capture motion.
3D and 4D ultrasounds provide information about a baby's fetal health and development. With 3D and 4D ultrasounds, a parent can:
- See their baby's movement
- Listen to their baby's heart
- Confirm their baby's gender
- See their baby's features in detail
What to expect at a 3D and 4D ultrasound appointment
Expectant parents are encouraged to bring family members and friends to their 3D and 4D ultrasound appointments. Parents-to-be may bring as many loved ones with them as they want, but our room comfortably fits four to six people at a time.
3D and 4D ultrasound appointments include the following:
- 25 minutes of viewing time to watch and capture images of your growing baby
- Five black and white prints and a USB or CD of the scan
If you are having multiple babies or if you would like to have more time with our imaging technician, we provide an extended imaging option:
- 40 minutes of viewing time to watch and capture images of your growing baby
- Eight black and white prints and a USB or CD of the scan
