Smoking Cessation Clinic

Right now is a great time to quit smoking. Why? In as little as 10 minutes you will start to feel the benefits of not smoking. Be prepared and come with a real desire to quit using tobacco or give the gift of a smoke-free life to someone you love. They will thank you with every breath they take. The fee is $100 for the first visit and free thereafter.

Teen and Adult CPR Class

5:30pm - 9:00pm

Adults, do you want to know how to quickly help a loved one in an emergency? Students, do you need CPR training for baby-sitting or life-guarding? CPR class helps increase survival rates by training people just like you to respond quickly. This program is now offered the 1st Wed of every month, taught by a certified instructor and includes home safety, rescue breathing, choking, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques. Course suitable for ages 12+. Limit 20 persons per class. AHA Course Completion Cards will be issued. $30 per person

Preparing for Breast Feeding Class

A.W.A.K.E. St. Petersburg General Hospital offers a health awareness group for persons with sleep apnea, their family members and friends. The program is part of the American Sleep Apnea Association’s “Alert, Well and Keeping Energetic” network. Groups bring individuals together in a format that fosters support, allows for an exchange of information, and gives assistance to those affected by sleep apnea. Monthly meetings will feature pertinent topics presented by medical professionals as well as the sharing of ideas and concerns.
